About the role:

As an Associate on the Investor Relations team, you will work closely to position Samsara to investors and analysts. You will play a key role in collecting and analyzing information that will inform our narrative, managing investor and analyst relationships, building investor targeting strategies, and managing various investor events. We are looking for an extremely organized, detail oriented, analytical and motivated professional with strong communication skills.

In this role, you will: 

• Collect and analyze information (business and financial) that will inform our narrative to investors and analysts
• Collaborate with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Legal, Comms, and Marketing to gather information related to quarterly financial performance and ensure accuracy of figures and alignment of external messaging
• Monitor and internally summarize industry trends and peers’ commentary and financial results by continuously tracking sell-side research, financial news, and transcripts
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 2+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking or strategic finance
• Strong familiarity with financial modeling and valuation
• Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results. You’re eager to roll your sleeves up and make an impact
• Self-motivated with a history of taking on expanding roles
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Legal, Comms, and Marketing teams
• Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to investors and analysts
• Bachelor’s degree
