The paid internship will offer an exciting 11-week development opportunity with our growing media start-up. Students will be an important part of a fast-paced, cross-functional team, supporting our KPIs. </p> <p style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">We are looking for collaborative and creative interns who are eager to learn about Group Black and the dynamic Media industry. Reporting directly to a member of the leadership team, you will gain both experience and exposure to our Group Black partners and media strategies. These pieces will help connect the dots between insights and trends, and then you will use those findings to help make strategic recommendations for our internal teams and stakeholders.</p> <p style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><strong>Your Day-to-Day: </strong></p> <ul style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"> <li>You will work on high-visibility projects, focused on key initiatives within the Insights and Analytics department.</li> <li>Own and manage follow-up items designated by your internship supervisor.</li> <li>Learn and utilize different Insights software, programs, and systems.</li> <li>Assist in developing measurement plans and learning agendas.</li> <li>Assessment of quantitative and qualitative data.</li> <li>Partner closely with other Insights Analysts on the team to create templates, analysis approaches, and tools that enhance the team’s efficiency.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Brand Strategy team to build case studies that highlight campaign performance.</li> <li>Perform research, ad-hoc tasks, and special projects.</li> <li>Attend meetings and take/distribute notes and other administrative tasks.</li> <li>Create and maintain documents, presentations, and other assets that apply to your role.</li> </ul> <p style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><strong>Key Projects: </strong></p> <ul style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"> <li>Your example intern deliverables may include: written drafts of measurement plans and learning agendas, social listening reports, and presentations (Google Slides).</li> <li>At the end of the internship, you will present your learning and development experience to the company during a cross-functional meeting.</li> </ul> <p style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><strong>What you bring to the team:</strong></p> <ul style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"> <li>Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.</li> <li>Strong research experience, including audience and market research.</li> <li>A passion for digging into trends and audience research and working cross-functionally and closely with team members.</li> <li>Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing, and changing environment.</li> <li>Some experience using social analytics platforms such as Meltwater, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, and/or similar analytics tools; comfortable learning new systems and tools.</li> <li>Experience conducting Boolean searches, is a plus. </li> <li>Strong comprehension of collaborative tools (Slack & Google & monday.com).</li> <li>Google suite of products (Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Data Studio).</li> <li>Maintain a level of confidentiality.</li> </ul> <p style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">At Group Black we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency.
