Director of Learning & Development

About The Role:

At Facet Wealth, we put the client above all else. As a Director of Learning & Development, you will live out this value each day as you work directly with our new Planners as they learn the Facet Way. You will not only be responsible for helping our new Planners understand the planning processes and best practices here at Facet, but also how our beliefs, mission, and vision are ingrained into every plan, analysis, and communication we have with our clients. You will develop deep institutional knowledge of the core skills needed for the Planner position across Facet, thinking critically about innovative ways to elevate the abilities of team members across our Planning team.

With that said, there are some bright lines about what it means to work here:

  • We are a true fiduciary meaning the client will always come first.
  • This is not a client facing role. Your Planners are your clients, and your success is tied to their success.
  • You will be the first impression for Facet to all new Planners that join our team. You get to be the sunshine and the rainbow as they begin their careers with us.

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for new Planners as they adapt to the Facet Way.
  • Work directly with Planners via video conferencing, daily stand-ups, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate schedules with our Directors of Financial Planning when a subject matter expert is required.
  • Work with leadership across the Planning Team to identify how learning and development can support their teams in achieving planning objectives and key results.
  • Work with leaders and Planners to identify opportunities to improve on learning plans and materials to achieve company objectives and key results..
  • Participate in weekly team meetings that provide feedback and continued education opportunities.

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a high quality training program

Call Center Manager

About The Role:

At Facet Wealth, we put the client above all else. As the Call Center Manager you will live out this value each day as you work with prospects, helping them improve their lives by empowering them to reach their financial goals, both big and small. You will be responsible for creating an environment where every outbound agent has the knowledge and tools to be incredibly successful, and every prospect has a best-in-class interaction with your team(s).

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee all aspects of executing on our outbound sales strategy, including:
    • Recruit and develop an internal team of A players that consistently meet or exceed targets
    • Manage remote team(s) of agents and ensure our evolving strategy is replicated perfectly across all partnerships at all times
    • Deliver results with technology: be proficient in all sales enablement systems, contribute to tech stack strategy, and make constant recommendations for process improvement
    • Meet or exceed call targets every day, without exception
  • Partner with Analytics to develop superior operational reporting; understand how to interpret data and translate it into actionable sales insights
  • Maintain expert-level understanding of our sales initiatives and reinforce them at every opportunity
  • Understand which levers will influence and improve our sales process and make sound recommendations to the Head of Sales - your ideas should produce outstanding results
  • Host 1:1s with individual team members and deliver targeted, data-driven sales coaching
  • Maintain database of call recordings to monitor and track skill progression across all teams - when an agent doesn’t close, you understand why and what needs to be done
  • Be an expert on handling objections and know how to teach this skill to others
  • Understand how to exploit bright spots on your team(s) and promote exceptional talent
  • Be the source of truth for best practices in your field
  • Know how to change behavior: you consistently pull your low/moderate performers up
  • Design and implement appropriate disciplinary actions as needed; be a good steward of company resources and understand how to optimize them

Sr. Client Success Manager

About The Role:

As a Sr. Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with our amazing clients to bring them onboard at Facet Wealth. Our onboarding process allows you to share Facet’s mission and how working with Facet can be actually life-changing. You will be responsible for conveying Facet’s planning pillars and why we, as a firm, believe that human advisors (who also happen to be incredible and knowledgeable financial professionals) are the key to true, quality, actionable guidance.

With that said, we are looking for people that:

  • Love helping people reach their financial goals and are passionate about providing an amazing client experience
  • Have sales experience and thrive on bringing new clients on board

Paraplanner

About The Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will be part of the Facet family and a key player in helping our planners deliver incredible comprehensive financial life management to our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with an awesome team of planners, supporting the work they do and contribute to the delivery of an unparalleled client experience (you should see our NPS scores!).

With that said, there are some bright lines about what it means to work here:

  • Your job is to provide our planners the communication and tasks they need to do their best for our clients. You’ll be focused on supporting a team of lead planners by helping them manage their practice which includes organizing client information, following up with clients, and making preliminary recommendations, you will work in an exciting and collaborative team environment with motivated and dedicated team members.
  • We will never ask you to develop business or sell on our behalf. We ask our planning team to do three things: as a paraplanner, be a part of our client’s Facet team, enabling planners to provide our clients with world-class service, and always act in the best interest of our clients.

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Directly support a team of lead planners working remotely across the country
  • Help prepare lead planners for client meetings, including collecting, organizing and synthesizing client data within a financial planning context.
  • Assist lead planners in managing their practice more effectively by reaching out to clients to schedule meetings.
  • Work with team members to complete follow-up tasks from client meetings, including but not limited to investment management tasks and / or coordinating work.
  • Handle some client service responsibilities, including but not limited to conducting account reviews and addressing client related communications.
  • Provide lead planners with client asset management solutions, including but not limited to review of client portfolios, strategies for assets under management, recommendations for client accounts, or ensuring beneficiaries on accounts.
  • Partner with operations team members to manage all client account operational items including but not limited to submitting requests for account paperwork, initiating and tracking transfers and account funding, service requests, and client online account access.
  • Provide direct client support to clients around navigating the Facet portal on the client’s side to enter information or upload files.

Data Analyst

About The Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will work directly with the Business, Operations, Growth, and Product teams with the responsibility of maintaining Facet’s data definitions and quality, reports, dashboards, and in-depth analyses.

  • This role reports to the Director of Analytics and will work with stakeholders across all departments in the company
  • As a data-first, data-enabled company, we seek to empower each business unit at Facet to make data-driven decisions in near real-time. As such, we need to continuously build and iterate on our data infrastructure, while supporting business asks and needs. Our data analysts need to know our data inside and out, be experts with visualization tools, and help business experts to ask the right questions to lead them to actionable quantitative answers.

About The Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will be part of the Facet family and a key player in helping our planners deliver incredible comprehensive financial life management to our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with an awesome team of planners, supporting the work they do and contribute to the delivery of an unparalleled client experience (you should see our NPS scores!).

With that said, there are some bright lines about what it means to work here:

  • Your job is to provide our planners the communication and tasks they need to do their best for our clients. You’ll be focused on supporting a team of lead planners by helping them manage their practice which includes organizing client information, following up with clients, and making preliminary recommendations, you will work in an exciting and collaborative team environment with motivated and dedicated team members.
  • We will never ask you to develop business or sell on our behalf. We ask our planning team to do three things: as a paraplanner, be a part of our client’s Facet team, enabling planners to provide our clients with world-class service, and always act in the best interest of our clients.

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Directly support a team of lead planners working remotely across the country
  • Help prepare lead planners for client meetings, including collecting, organizing and synthesizing client data within a financial planning context.
  • Assist lead planners in managing their practice more effectively by reaching out to clients to schedule meetings.
  • Work with team members to complete follow-up tasks from client meetings, including but not limited to investment management tasks and / or coordinating work.
  • Handle some client service responsibilities, including but not limited to conducting account reviews and addressing client related communications.
  • Provide lead planners with client asset management solutions, including but not limited to review of client portfolios, strategies for assets under management, recommendations for client accounts, or ensuring beneficiaries on accounts.
  • Partner with operations team members to manage all client account operational items including but not limited to submitting requests for account paperwork, initiating and tracking transfers and account funding, service requests, and client online account access.
  • Provide direct client support to clients around navigating the Facet portal on the client’s side to enter information or upload files.

Job Specific Requirements:

  • CFP® designation
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Data Analyst

About The Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will work directly with the Business, Operations, Growth, and Product teams with the responsibility of maintaining Facet’s data definitions and quality, reports, dashboards, and in-depth analyses.

  • This role reports to the Director of Analytics and will work with stakeholders across all departments in the company
  • As a data-first, data-enabled company, we seek to empower each business unit at Facet to make data-driven decisions in near real-time. As such, we need to continuously build and iterate on our data infrastructure, while supporting business asks and needs. Our data analysts need to know our data inside and out, be experts with visualization tools, and help business experts to ask the right questions to lead them to actionable quantitative answers.

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Help to maintain good data quality in the synthesis of data from a variety of processes and software
  • Collaborate on continued Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development / maintenance of ETL processes primarily with SQL enforcement of business rules
  • Work closely with business owners and analysts to define actionable analyses
  • Shape analyses from business questions through SQL queries to visualization and communication of results
  • Author operations reporting and dashboards in Tableau to support teams’ day to day
  • Create visualizations in Tableau to communicate results of analysis

Job Specific Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in analytics and business intelligence
  • Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level dashboards in BI tools, specifically Tableau
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL ad hoc querying including familiarity with complex joins and partitioning functions
  • Analytics experience within marketing departments or organizations
  • Experience in statistics and problem solving

Sr. Financial Planner

About The Role:

At Facet Wealth, we put the client above all else. As a Sr. Financial Planner, you will live out this value each day as you work directly with clients as their financial life coach, helping them improve their lives by empowering them to reach their financial goals, both big and small. You will not only be responsible for providing sound, comprehensive financial advice and guidance, but for helping clients make sense of their financial lives in actionable ways.

With that said, there are some bright lines about what it means to work here:

  • No selling: we never ask you to develop business or sell products
  • Guardrails, not prescriptions: we trust our team members to make the right decisions and to bring their unique experience to bear in helping our clients
  • Not your typical 9-5 wealth management job: if you want to be on the golf course schmoozing clients 3 days a week, this is not the job for you

Your Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a financial life coach for clients to help them identify their passions and achieve their goals/objectives by providing comprehensive financial planning and a high-quality client experience during every interaction
  • Work directly with clients via videoconference, phone, and e-mail.
  • Prepare for client meetings by collecting, organizing, and synthesizing client data within a financial planning context, all while using our in-house technology
  • Partner with team members to manage operational items including assisting with reviewing client portfolios and recommending investment solutions based on client risk/goals, coordinating client withdrawal needs and tax strategies for assets
  • Communicate with sales teams to ensure new clients are the right fit as well as existing clients to ensure they are receiving pertinent internal communications
  • Participate in weekly team meetings that provide feedback and continued education opportunities
  • Work with our core client segment which represents more than half our client base on critical planning topics including cash flow planning, debt management, investment management and other personalized needs

Job Specific Requirements

  • CFP® designation
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2+ years of client facing financial planning experience
  • Available to work two nights per week to accommodate client schedules and occasional weekends as needed
