In this role as the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will support the US and Canada cluster by managing the consolidated reporting of financial performance across cluster channels and brands. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, you will support all FP&A activities for the cluster including executive reporting, target setting, process design, and liaising with department leads across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly financial results, partnering with the US and Canada finance teams to understand business flow, macro- and micro-economic storylines, and key drivers of financial statements
Identify, research, and communicate monthly and quarterly variances to prior periods, budget and forecast
Help drive the forecast and budget process across the entire P&L and Balance Sheet to ensure timely completion of all deliverables
Prepare reporting packages for recurring executive Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, as well as other internal operating reviews and project reporting
Assist in the development of and scenario analysis for the Annual Financial and Strategic Business Plan, including the preparation of business cases
Create tools and reports using Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to support reporting requirements and business needs
Ensure integrity of financial models, reporting, and databases
Support business partners with ad hoc requests for presentations
Job Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. in Business, Accounting or Finance
Minimum 4 years of progressive financial planning & analysis and accounting experience
Broad knowledge of accounting, tax and external reporting
High degree of flexibility and adaptability that allows you to thrive in a high-growth, dynamic work environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results
Candidates should have a desire and curiosity to learn the fundamentals of the business
Ability to work with senior level management within an organization
Experience with Essbase and HFM
