Overview of the role
The Recruiter is responsible for building an innovative and supportive, high performing culture by sourcing, hiring, and onboarding a diverse set of the worldâs top talent. This individual will play a key role in driving The Trevor Projectâs recruiting strategy and its day-to-day execution, while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers to support their hiring goals and play a critical role in the expansion of this fast-growing, life-saving organization.

- Experienced. You have significant experience with hands-on full cycle recruitment of top talent -preferably in the nonprofit sector with success hiring for roles like: fundraising, research, and technology teams

What you'll do
- Clearly articulate to external audiences Trevorâs mission, the work that we do, and the opportunities for amazing people to join Team Trevor
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles within the organization, including sourcing top talent, coordinating and conducting resume screens, scheduling and conducting phone interviews, organizing in-person interviews
- Source active and passive candidates to ensure a diverse and highly qualified talent pool
- Thoughtfully create and execute a candidate experience reflective of Trevorâs culture and values
- Partner with hiring managers from across the organization - including on our fundraising, research, and data teams - to support them in hiring qualified and diverse talent to fill their needs in the short and long term
- Deliver interview training to all Trevor staff participating in interviews
- Collaborate with other members of the People team to continually improve and deliver a high quality onboarding to new members of Team Trevor so they are set up for success
- Identify areas for innovation across the recruitment team and develop and implement plans to address them
- Analyze and use data and metrics to help inform decisions to improve The Trevor Projectâs ability to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent
