Mobilize is the events management and volunteer recruitment platform that connects mission-driven organizations and their supporters. In just 2 years, our platform has helped nearly 2,000 advocacy organizations and political campaigns (including Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the Human Rights Campaign, and 20 Presidential campaigns) sign up over one million supporters for volunteer action and events.

Part-Time Success Specialist

The Mobilize Success team is responsible for helping clients get the absolute most out of the Mobilize platform. As we onboard more and more independent organizations, we are looking for an organizing expert to proactively provide clients with the best experience. This is a part-time, contract position with employment through the election cycle. We expect the scope the begin at  10 hours per week and increase to 20 hours per week by the second quarter. 

What you’ll bring 
  • 2-4 years of work experience in the advocacy space
  • Experience at a political consulting firm or vendor is a plus but not required 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of the political tech ecosystem (VAN, PDI BSD, Everyaction, ActionKit, etc) preferred but not required 
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a “no task too low” mentality 
 
Responsibilities 
Training, Onboarding & user adoption 
  • Deliver high impact trainings to new clients joining the Mobilize network 
  • Identify client goals and use cases and train on the right features 
  • Help the customer articulate their desired outcomes and target metrics
  • Build custom work plans to guide the client through the onboarding process and help them achieve mastering of our platform 
  • Develop customized materials, decks, templates to help clients master the right skills, depending on their unique goals and needs 
  • Manage timelines to quickly achieve account success  
 
Relationship management
  • Check in with clients through regularly scheduled meetings, providing value by sharing analytics and use case suggestions 
  • Develop relationships by establishing rapport, conducting in person visits, etc 
 
Project management and technical support 
  • Triage IE clients’ support requests including user error issues and potential bugs 
  • Project manage support & product requests, bugs, and rollouts of new features 
 
Drive usage & communicate value 
  • Work with clients to meet designated client health metrics with the goal of zero churn rate
  • Intervene with clients who are not meeting client success metrics, working with team members throughout the organization to bring the account back on track 
  • Identify upsell opportunities, surface to partnerships team and assist in the transaction where appropriate and/or necessary 
 
Be an advocate for your clients and the users behind the accounts 
  • Surface product pain points, feature requests and needs to the product team

As a Support Associate, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ questions and pain points are resolved quickly and that they have a delightful experience whenever they interact with our support team. 
 
You will: Manage our inbound support with an eye towards scaling systems and processes. You’ll be on the front lines with our clients — solving their most pressing problems and using data to make our systems better and users happier. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Respond to inbound support requests with positivity and user empathy
  • Manage our Intercom inbox processes including custom bots, saved responses, routing and auto messages
  • Write user-facing content for our HelpDesk, using data to proactively identify areas for investment
  • Analyze patterns and make updates to processes to build the best customer support system in the industry
 
You’ll Bring:
