Master Brand Institute (MBI), founded by Brand Strategist and Business Futurist Jennifer Kem, is the world’s leading educational authority for entrepreneurs, founders, business owners and corporate teams. We help both aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs get seen, heard and paid more in their businesses. Our physical campus is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and San Diego, CA; and our work is global and digital. Position: Project Manager

Reports to: COO

 

Role 

Support the COO by managing team and timeline for internal team members and external partners for all projects and launches.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO and COO: Works closely with the Executive Team to enhance their effectiveness by providing support and information management to the executive and others on both teams. Give creative and strategic input on crafting innovative marketing campaigns around our product launches that happen during the year.

  • Work with the Marketing Team to execute each marketing campaign on time with careful attention to detail

  • Manage contract and full-time staff and interns as needed.

  • Support online and offline campaigns in roles necessary to meet goals.

Requirements:

  • Based in North America (the office runs on Pacific time)

  • Good working knowledge of Google Suite, Project Management tools (we use TeamworkPM) Microsoft Office suite and exceptional typing skills. We use Google Drive to keep most documents, in addition to Dropbox.

  • Degree or equivalent background in the Marketing or Business

  • Knowledge and hands on experience working on sales funnels, list building, landing pages, PPC advertising and conversion techniques

  • Highly collaborative team player

  • Go getter who can look around multiple corners and solve problems in advance

  • Experience working in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments

Position: Brand Content and Marketing Manager

Role

  • Develop, uphold, execute and optimize brand strategy with CEO and other members of the brand team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with founder to capture and communicate story and imagery

  • Strategize/architect promotional stories

  • Write emails, ads, page copy, and articles that attracts a qualified audience of clients to our owned properties (including blog posts, white papers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, co-marketing, etc).

  • Strategize with marketing team, draft content for pages/webinars

  • Work with our graphic design team to create, edit and manage the production of digital and print content that is consistent with our brand, style and tone. 

  • Develop Social Media/Blog Promo Calendar

  • Manage all brand social platforms - including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and creating a plan and identifying resources to dominate in each category

  • Create/update advertising graphics

  • Create/update assets for webinars including promotional content, student workbooks, and powerpoint presentations

  • Create content + growth strategies for social media, including mining and remixing ideas from existing content to repurpose across multiple platforms

  • Create content for students, customers, and members

  • Work with marketing team to develop new products + optimize existing funnel graphics and copy

  • Optimize membership and website layout

  • Develop merchandise and visual branding for offline use including e-Commerce, live events and other uses

  • Proactively identify ways to increase brand impact across all channels

  • Work with Marketing Analyst to make business decisions on growing the company using data and research

  • Manage contract and full-time staff and interns when needed.

  • Support online and offline campaigns in roles necessary to meet goals.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A leader in the digital marketing/publishing industry with 5+ years experience; in lieu of this experience, the ability to showcase results.

  • Based in North America (the office runs on Pacific time)

  • Degree or equivalent background in the Arts or Business

  • Experience working in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments

Position: Enrollment Specialist

Department: Program Fulfillment

Reports to: COO

 

Role 

  • Design, lead and run the day-to-day brand experience within the fulfillment of company programs, including the supervision and management of other faculty members.
  • As this a key position with a wide range of responsibilities, this is someone with a thorough understanding of managing a customer’s experience from end to end (including overseeing the work morale of the faculty). This position requires high service and on-the-go solution oriented thinking - but if you’re the person we’re looking for then you’re already motivated by taking care of students! 

  • Time commitment is 15-30 hours per week with the intent of becoming a full time position as more students are enrolled into the program.

  • This role reports directly to the COO and will work closely and manage other supporting members of our faculty within the campus programs.

  • Flexibility is required for this position as there will be instances when work will have to be completed on an evening and/or weekend due to the nature of our business and clients.

Responsibilities: What You’ll Do Daily

  • Supporting the enrollment of prospective students

  • Strategically identifying where students belong on campus, including matching them with the best program that fits their business needs

  • Advising Executive Team on available opportunities to enroll lower level students into higher level programs

  • Onboarding active students

  • Customer retention with students to keep their payments up to date and in integrity with their contract

  • Managing quarterly transitions, including set up of schedule, communication with students, communication with faculty,  and other tasks to ensure a seamless transition

  • Oversee and field concerns and suggestions from Coaches and Concierge and escalate to the COO as necessary

  • Point of contact for all students on MBI Campus who have program fulfillment questions or concerns that cannot be answered by their program concierge

  • Management of the program concierges to ensure that all of their tasks are done accurately and on time

  • Direct point of contact for new faculty members to onboard and support continuing questions

  • Support COO in defining and enforcing performance management KPI’s with Faculty and monitoring program success against objectives.

  • Ensure the campus is adequately staffed and prepared to meet milestones

  • Present monthly and quarterly reviews of the campus’ KPI’s to the Executive Team 

  • Developing certification for coaches based on campus curriculum and objectives

  • Translating the campuses’ overall strategic plans into defined tasks in executable timelines

  • Reporting to the COO on program growth, risks and activities.

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline campus and business processes and systems.

  • Restructuring program activities to increase speed, efficiency and client retention.

  • Setting up and distributing the campus calendar for programs to both clients and staff

  • Staying up to date with technological changes within the industry.

  • Researching opportunities to save on program expenses

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Coordinate fulfillment of program materials monthly

  • Identifying swag and surprise and delight for program participants


Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Hold a focus on landing a career in Graphic Design.

  • Good working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite and exceptional typing skills. We use Google Drive to keep most documents, in addition to Dropbox.

  • Ability to learn design-specific tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

  • Exceptional communication skills; the ability to proactively and professionally speak what’s needed to accomplish goals.

  • Detail-Oriented - the design process is a very structured process and making updates and tracking versions of designs is critical.

  • Team Player - feedback to and from team members is critical to the role and development of arts and design assets.

Position: Enrollment Specialist

Department: Program Fulfillment

Reports to: COO

 

Role 

  • Design, lead and run the day-to-day brand experience within the fulfillment of company programs, including the supervision and management of other faculty members.
  • As this a key position with a wide range of responsibilities, this is someone with a thorough understanding of managing a customer’s experience from end to end (including overseeing the work morale of the faculty). This position requires high service and on-the-go solution oriented thinking - but if you’re the person we’re looking for then you’re already motivated by taking care of students! 

  • Time commitment is 15-30 hours per week with the intent of becoming a full time position as more students are enrolled into the program.

  • This role reports directly to the COO and will work closely and manage other supporting members of our faculty within the campus programs.

  • Flexibility is required for this position as there will be instances when work will have to be completed on an evening and/or weekend due to the nature of our business and clients.

Responsibilities: What You’ll Do Daily

  • Supporting the enrollment of prospective students

  • Strategically identifying where students belong on campus, including matching them with the best program that fits their business needs

  • Advising Executive Team on available opportunities to enroll lower level students into higher level programs

  • Onboarding active students

  • Customer retention with students to keep their payments up to date and in integrity with their contract

  • Managing quarterly transitions, including set up of schedule, communication with students, communication with faculty,  and other tasks to ensure a seamless transition

  • Oversee and field concerns and suggestions from Coaches and Concierge and escalate to the COO as necessary

  • Point of contact for all students on MBI Campus who have program fulfillment questions or concerns that cannot be answered by their program concierge

  • Management of the program concierges to ensure that all of their tasks are done accurately and on time

  • Direct point of contact for new faculty members to onboard and support continuing questions

  • Support COO in defining and enforcing performance management KPI’s with Faculty and monitoring program success against objectives.

  • Ensure the campus is adequately staffed and prepared to meet milestones

  • Present monthly and quarterly reviews of the campus’ KPI’s to the Executive Team 

  • Developing certification for coaches based on campus curriculum and objectives

  • Translating the campuses’ overall strategic plans into defined tasks in executable timelines

  • Reporting to the COO on program growth, risks and activities.

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline campus and business processes and systems.

  • Restructuring program activities to increase speed, efficiency and client retention.

  • Setting up and distributing the campus calendar for programs to both clients and staff

  • Staying up to date with technological changes within the industry.

  • Researching opportunities to save on program expenses

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Coordinate fulfillment of program materials monthly

  • Identifying swag and surprise and delight for program participants


Requirements:

  • Excellent, proactive communicator internally and externally

  • Experience in enrollment and student management, or campus development

  • Based in North America (the office runs on Pacific time)

  • Extremely organized integrator to support Director and Executive Staff

  • Go-getter who can look around multiple corners and solve problems in advance

  • Great brand representative for the face of the company

  • Experience working in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments

  • Ability to travel for the company at our own live events and others where assigned

  • Commercial awareness with an eye for seeing business improvement opportunities.

  • Previous experience working for a company within the industry or from a similar business.

  • Highly motivated with a passion for driving students’ and faculty’s success


Terms:

  • This is a part time position
