As an Account Executive, you will be an early member of our sales team and help shape the culture as we scale! You will be a part of amplifying our early success and establishing us as the industry leader in the North American market.

This role will be reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales and will be responsible for both full cycle small business deals and lead generation for mid-market and enterprise deals. You’ll directly contribute to expanding our customer base, building on a strong foundation of the many world-renowned organizations who already use and love Crescendo.

Given our early stage, this role has a unique split or responsibilities, based on the size of prospect.

For Small Business Deals (<250 employees):

  • Create plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Manage inbound lead flow in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Take a human-centric and empathetic approach to all interactions

For Mid-Market & Enterprise Deals (250+ employees):

  • Be the first point of contact for new inbound business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
  • Support Head of Enterprise Sales on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Be responsible for a monthly quota of demos booked with prospects
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings

What we’re looking for:

  • An individual with 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with public speaking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospective clients
  • Having experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (professionally or personally) in order to genuinely connect with prospective clients
  • An inclusive team member who understands the privileges they carry through the world and how it impacts or influences those around them

  • Working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly

Compensation:

  • Compensation is a combination of base salary + commission and bonus structure: $40K base; total compensation range is $40-80K

Customer Success Manager

As their platform of choice for scaling inclusion programs worldwide, Crescendo helps them offer personalized learning experiences for employees around the world and measure the change in inclusive behaviour over time. Our client base is growing, so we're looking for an empathetic and analytical Customer Success Manager to support our customers in achieving their goals with Crescendo.

As a Customer Success Manager at Crescendo, you will:

  • Manage mid-market and large enterprise clients from contract through to retention, upsell, and churn
  • Navigate customers' organizational structure to define milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and on-time delivery
  • Drive successful adoption and onboarding to help companies realize the value of Crescendo
  • Expand and renew contracts with clients
  • Form strategic relationships with key stakeholders and provide additional resources and strategies tailored to their needs
  • Effectively communicate client and user needs to our Product team and update clients on new features

The skillset:

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer success, preferably in a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients and navigating stakeholders
  • Customer onboarding and expansion experience
  • Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sales and upselling experience
  • Able to prioritize and manage competing demands and adapt to change
  • Results-driven approach to goal setting and work

Nice to have, but not essential:

  • Fluent in a second language (or more)
  • Professional experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, either through participation or as a leader

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales at Crescendo will be responsible for preparing our sales organization to scale. You will play a pivotal role in amplifying our early success and establishing us as the industry leader in the North American market.

As a senior member of our team reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales will be responsible for building and executing a plan to significantly expand our customer base primarily with mid-market and large enterprises, building on a strong foundation of the many world-renowned organizations who already use and love Crescendo.

About the Role:

  • Set and achieve new business revenue targets aligned to company goals and own all sales pipeline and conversion metrics, quarterly and annual sales goals, and other revenue KPIs
  • Manage accurate quarterly and annual pipeline and forecasting across the company
  • Improve our SaaS sales process so it is can scale as we grow the sales team
  • Actively hire and continuously develop a talented and motivated sales team who succeed by being human-centric and empathetic sellers
  • Grow and accelerate the sales funnel by developing a repeatable and proven outbound selling approach within our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Work directly with the Head of Marketing to collaborate on demand generation campaigns and strategies that result in rapid growth of qualified pipeline, new customer acquisition and net new bookings ARR
  • Work with our Product, Engineering and Customer Success leadership to clearly articulate customer and market opportunities and needs that directly impact top-line outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • An individual with 3 years selling experience and 3 years of sales leadership experience
  • A sales leader who has experience both building and executing a go-to-market model in a fast growing B2B technology company
  • Experience recruiting, on-boarding, training and retaining high performers
  • An inclusive leader who understands the privileges they carry through the world and how it impacts or influences those around them
