Senior Customer Success Manager

Our Customer Success team is growing and we're looking for a Sr. Customer Success Manager to join us in shaping the future of global business.

Our team is fully remote, with members spread across Toronto, Montreal, and New York. Note: the compensation package for this role includes equity and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage enterprise clients starting from the contract stage to churn (which will "never" happen of course)
  • Navigate customers' organizational structure to define milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and on-time delivery
  • Drive successful adoption and onboarding to help companies realize the value of Crescendo
  • Lead short-term trial periods and play a key role in the renewal and expansion process in collaboration with our Sales team
  • Form strategic relationships with key stakeholders and provide additional resources and strategies tailored to their needs
  • Effectively communicate client and user needs to our Product team and update clients on new features
  • Create customer support documents and communications for onboarding, best practices, contracts, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in Customer Success Management in a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience managing large enterprise clients and key stakeholder needs
  • Customer onboarding and expansion experience
  • Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have, but not essential:

  • Sales and up-selling experience
  • Fluent in a second language
  • Experience building out CS processes

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in customer management
  • Able to work autonomously, set personal goals and strategies
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-departmental team members
  • Results-driven in your work
  • Able to prioritize and manage competing demands and adapt to change
  • Proactive in communication on progress and blockers
  • Honest and professional in all interactions

  • Minimum two years’ experience in software development
  • Familiarity with technologies we use (JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, REST APIs, GraphQL, React, Angular)
  • Experience with relational (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elastic Search) databases
  • Experience with container-based deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Interest in devops (deployment, ongoing integration)

Nice to have, but not essential:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes
  • Experience working with message broker, message routing and developing microservices such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka
  • Cloud Technology Certifications on AWS or Azure

You are:

  • Self-motivated with proven track record in web application development
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-departmental team members
  • Results-driven in your work
  • Able to prioritize and manage competing demands and adapt to change
  • Proactive in communication on progress and blockers
  • Honest and professional in all interactions
